Our Community
Whistler Village was originally designed to be a focal point for visitors, featuring direct pedestrian access to Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. It quickly grew to be a central hub for the thriving community as well, showcasing West Coast architecture, quaint alpine atmosphere and spectacular mountain views all around.
The Village is a pedestrian only area where people can wander freely to enjoy the local shops , restaurants , parks and water features, all within close proximity of their accommodation. A vehicle is not necessary to explore the abundance of amenities offered. The Village is serviced by a municipal hall, fire and police station, conference centre, medical clinic, museum , library, and two cultural centres.
With over 200 shops, 90 restaurants, a vibrant après and nightlife scene, rejuvenating spas , eclectic mix of art galleries and more, there is never a shortage of things to do while in Whistler.
